https://journals.iarn.or.id/index.php/ners/article/view/682

One of the physiological problems that pregnant women often complain about is back pain. Lack of treatment by pregnant women in overcoming back pain causes mothers to feel anxious and worried. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of endorphin massage and deep breathing relaxation on reducing back pain in pregnant women. This study design was pre-experimental, with a two-group pretest-posttest approach. Respondents were taken using a purposive sampling technique with a sample of 30 respondents. The independent variables were endorphin massage and deep breathing relaxation and the dependent variable was the reduction in back pain. The results of the statistical test used an independent t-test. The results showed that before the endorphin massage, most pregnant women experienced severe back pain, as many as 10 respondents (66.6%), and after the endorphin massage, it was known that almost all respondents had no pain, as many as 14 respondents (93.3%). Almost all respondents before the deep breathing relaxation experienced severe pain, as many as 14 respondents (93.3%), and after the deep breathing relaxation, most respondents had no pain, as many as 11 respondents (73.3%). The data analysis results showed a significance level of 0.000 < α = 0.05, so H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted. This means that endorphin massage and deep breathing relaxation have an effect on reducing back pain in pregnant women because they can promote relaxation and minimize the sensation of pain.
Retno Palupi Yonni SiwiErma RetnaningtyasAnggrawati WulandariMusabbiha Dg. https://journals.iarn.or.id/index.php/ners/article/view/715

The use of PPE aims to protect health workers from invasion by pathogenic microbes. The use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by nurses is still considered inadequate in its implementation and application. The application of PPE in nursing care is influenced by various factors. One such factor is nurses' behavior in using PPE. This study aims to determine the effect of comfort in using PPE on nurses' behavior in using PPE at Merauke Regional Hospital. This study used a cross-sectional research technique. The sampling method used was stratified random sampling. Based on this calculation, the required sample size was 103 respondents. The independent variable in this study was comfort in using PPE, and the dependent variable was behavior in using PPE. The Chi-square correlation test was used. The Chi-square test yielded a p-value of 0.04 (p<0.05). These results concluded that there was a significant effect between comfort in using PPE and nurses' behavior at Merauke Regional Hospital. The SPSS output showed a correlation coefficient of moderate or moderately strong.
Mohamad SaljanEvin Palupi IriantiNatalin AllorerungErma Retnaningtyas

https://journals.iarn.or.id/index.php/ners/article/view/685

Chlorogenic acid (CGA) is a polyphenolic compound produced in certain plants, one of which is coffee. Green coffee has a higher CGA number than other types of coffee of the same weight. CGA is a compound that has been shown to be the main component of green coffee. The benefits of CGA as a healthy ingredient have been demonstrated in many studies. This review describes the effectiveness of green coffee CGA in reducing the number of illnesses that are dangerous to human health. In related literature, the effects of CGA have been reported in vitro, in vivo, and in clinical trials. CGA research in clinical trials is primarily focused on its antioxidant activity, human oxidative response, and the best results as an antioxidant. In this study, you will learn about the CGA stability and health tolerance of green coffee. We will also learn about the effectiveness of CGA for many aspects of its health effects by reviewing recent studies as our intent.
Aliyah FahmiEpi Supri Wardi

https://journals.iarn.or.id/index.php/ners/article/view/695

Anemia in pregnant women remains a health problem that can increase the risk of complications for the mother and fetus. One effort to prevent anemia during pregnancy is through regular consumption of iron tablets. However, the level of compliance of pregnant women in consuming iron tablets remains a challenge in maternal health programs. This study is a quantitative analytical study with a cross-sectional approach, which was conducted in the Working Area of the Woyla Timur Community Health Center, West Aceh Regency in January 2026. The study population was all 50 pregnant women in the third trimester. The sampling technique used total sampling so that the entire population was used as a research sample. Data were analyzed using the Chi-square test to examine the association between iron tablet utilization and anemia status among pregnant women receiving antenatal care at the Woyla Timur Community Health Center. The study findings demonstrated a statistically significant association between iron tablet utilization and anemia status among pregnant women receiving antenatal care at the Woyla Timur Community Health Center. The results of the Chi-Square test analysis obtained a p-value = 0.000 (p <0.05). A statistically significant association was observed between iron tablet utilization and anemia status among pregnant women at the Woyla Timur Community Health Center. Based on these findings, interventions focused on education, counseling, and regular monitoring should be enhanced to support optimal iron tablet utilization during pregnancy.
Ita Susanti ItaAsmima YantiNur Afriza
